Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian, located in Elk Grove, CA. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical, surgical, and dental care to pets. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, conducting wellness checks, advising pet owners on proper pet care, and maintaining accurate medical records. Effective communication and empathetic care are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
• Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of California
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion for animals and their owners
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in small animal care is preferred
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Compensation :

Range is $150,000 -$280,000 depending on experience and schedule.
