BLISS Car Wash is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, plumbing, and mechanical issues with equipment and determine the process for repairs. Complete repairs as neededAnalyze issues reported by sites, fix, or create list of parts if required and order as neededAssistance in Installation of new equipmentAssistance on Replacement of old equipmentIdentify possible issues with equipment that have not been reported and create work ordersRun equipment through "cycles" to ensure the complete system is functioning properlyTroubleshoot and repair structural issues with equipment when welding requiredMaintain company assets, including service vehicles, tools, and equipmentAssist other departments on site to install marketing, safety or operational equipment, materials, or tools as instructedComplete company forms and reports accurately and completely including work records, time logs of daily work and site visits. Technicians may be dispatched or routed via Work Orders or callsTransport equipment supplies or tools from site to site or warehouse to site as neededMaintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment changes or modification through various resources such as maintenance manuals and service bulletinsComplete work orders, expense reports, and gas reportsMaintain proper inventory of parts on service vehicleKeep maintenance team leader informed of all significant problems, progress, or barriers to successComply with all applicable OHSA, ESA, and other provincial regulatory laws, as well as company safety policiesAny other duties as assigned by the maintenance team leadJOB REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to follow instructions3 years of experience on carwash plumbing and mechanicalGood troubleshooting, problem-solving and diagnostic skillsKnowledge and proper use of small and large hand toolsBasic computer and networking skillsAbility to learn through manufactures training, manuals, service bulletins, or self-motivated researchForklift experience and / or ability to obtain Forklift certificationAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manages time effectivelyFollow the company's vehicle and personnel policiesNeat, clean, professional appearanceAble to lift 75lbs, climb ladders and stand for extended periods of timeFollow and retain instructions and trainingGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to make good and efficient decisionsAbility to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, as well as installation drawings and blueprintsKnowledge of low voltage, single and three phase power, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsMetal fabrication and welding skillsCopper, PVC, and Stainless-Steel welding / assembling experience a plusPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift items up to 75 lbs.Ability to bend intermittently and repeatedly, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periodsThe above description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
