Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure 24/7 Security Officers are following Security Department and company policies and procedures as outlined by the Security Manager and the Director of Guest Services & Security.
2. Ensure 24/7 Security Officers are performing their daily duties as outlined by the Security Manager and the Director of Guest Services & Security.
3. Ensure 24/7 Security Officers are being held accountable for any policy and procedure violations or for not meeting performance expectations.
4. Administer disciplinary action to 24/7 Security Officers when necessary.
5. Create or review detailed reports of all incidents/accidents that occur on company property.
6. Conduct weekly audits of Security Department documentation.
7. Ensure all documents are neatly and accurately filed for future reference.
8. Create monthly 24/7 Security Officer shift schedules.
9. Conduct a weekly inventory of all Security Department supplies.
10. Conduct daily inspections of all Security Department equipment.
11. Create and submit weekly summaries of 24/7 security operations.
12. Conduct routine patrols of the interior/exterior property for potential safety or security concerns.
13. Monitor and secure the premises during load-in/load-out for concerts, sporting events, etc.
14. Conduct regular inspections/audits to ensure all standards are being met.
15. Interact with the public, venue management, and fellow employees in a professional manner.
16. De-escalate and resolve incidents with any person in violation of venue or corporate policies.
17. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Security Manager and Director of Guest Services & Security.

Education and/or Experience

• A minimum education level of a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• 4 years of related work and supervisory/managerial experience.
• An understanding of the rules of law, as they pertain to the operation of a private Security Department.
• Must possess and retain a current BSIS California Guard Card.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work rotating morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lead employees to successfully meet Security Department goals and job requirements.
• Ability to represent the 24/7 Security Department in an exemplary manner.
• Ability to maintain strong business relations with employees & leadership across all departments.
• Ability to work independently and assess situations for immediate response/resolution.
• Ability to effectively perform in a crisis and excel under pressure.
• Ability to memorize, recall, and transcribe relevant information.
• Ability to interact effectively and calmly during stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain composure and confidentiality when necessary.

Compensation

Competitive wages, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.

Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
