About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : 2+ years in PACU

License : Active Registered Nurse License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have : Pediatric experience

Strong PACU Phase 1 recovery skills for large complex cases (neuro, thoracic, vascular, and ortho spine)

Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks

Must pass Tele test on day 1 with a score of 84% or better

Description :

Shifts are 12 hours starting at 6 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM.

Every third weekend and every third holiday as needed.

No call required.

Pediatric experience is required.

Must have experience with trauma, pediatrics, ortho, general, cardiac cath, interventional radiology, and neuro cases.

Average number of cases per day ranges from 30 to 60.

Unit operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

May float to other units if needed.
