Job Description
Toronto based surgical medical device company developing leading surgical suite imaging, robotic visualization, and navigational support products requires a Service Trainer. Your main role would be to create a Service Manual and Training Plan to apply to all field specialists working in training, installation, repair and maintenance. and customer support.
An ideal candidate would be an engineer (navigational, surgical best) with a training background.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop a Service Training Program in line with objectives and requirements of the service team.
- Serve as SME re servicing products.
- Ensure that the program applies to all stakeholders, on or off site, including global training.
- Maintain training records / service documentation according to quality requirements.
- Close internal training gaps and handle any quality or compliance issues.
- Able to be hands-on re on-site installs.
- Help support desk team to provide support for system users
- Provide design and engineering teams with user feedback.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS :
BS, B.Eng., related.Min 3 years supporting complex software or medical systems.Experience as a trainer / educator.Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent customer service, presentation, leadership and team player strengths.Able to travel locally or internationally on short notice. (~50%)GREAT ASSETS :
Background training people on using and servicing complex medical equipment.Medical device software, hospital IT, PACS, DICOM.Navigation, Optics, Robotics - OR related.
