Key Job Details – PACU RN Travel Nursing Location : Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : January 5, 2026 – End : April 6, 2026) Setting : Perianesthesia – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) Shift : 3x12-hour night shifts (19 : 00 – 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirements : 1-2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule Patient Population : Adults and Geriatrics Unit Size : 20 beds, daily census 30-50 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1830–$1880 PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent PACU or critical care RN experience Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio RN license required) Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CCRN preferred) Level 1 Trauma experience preferred Proficient in telemetry, ventilator management, and electronic charting systems Ability to provide 2 professional references (including 1 from a manager / director or supervisor) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) PACU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-anesthesia patients in a Level 1 Trauma PACU Monitor and assess patient recovery from anesthesia, including vital signs and pain management Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as ordered Manage ventilated patients and provide central line care Recognize and respond to dysrhythmias and other complications Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems Participate in self-scheduling and maintain flexibility for weekend coverage Apply now to join our healthcare team in Columbus, Ohio and take the next step in your PACU nursing career!
