Key Job Details – L&D RN Locum Tenens Job Title : Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Locum Tenens Location : Terre Haute, IN 47802 (Indiana healthcare jobs) Assignment Type : Locum tenens (Travel nursing contract) Unit : Labor & Delivery (L&D), Mother Baby Start Date : July 14, 2025 End Date : October 13, 2025 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule Floating : May float to Mother Baby unit Dress Code : Navy or Caribbean blue scrubs Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680–$1730 L&D Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or Compact State (required at submission) Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience in Labor & Delivery nursing Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) Proficiency in EFM training, cervical exams, and circulating / recovering C-sections Experience with Meditech and CPN EMR systems preferred L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 7-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 2 ORs and 10 Mother Baby rooms Monitor patients using NOVII and Phillips equipment for fetal monitoring Perform and document cervical exams, fetal monitoring, and couplet care Circulate and recover C-section patients in accordance with best practices Assist with vaginal deliveries and support evidence-based maternal and newborn care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including NICU RNs and CSTs, to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to Mother Baby unit as needed to provide clinical support Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Locum Tenens Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in Terre Haute, Indiana.
