Role Overview
The Critical Care Nurse Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through effective management of the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). You will oversee daily operations, including staffing and clinical outcomes, and work to uphold facility objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.Manage staffing needs, including recruitment and training of new team members.Support staff in providing exemplary patient care and uphold adherence to established standards.Handle patient and visitor complaints professionally and efficiently.Provide leadership, coaching, and support for development of staff.Collaborate across departments to improve patient care delivery.Qualifications :
Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required, with strong preference given to prior leadership experience.BLS and ACLS certifications are required.TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 350+ bed facility with advanced services, including a comprehensive stroke center and Level I Trauma Center.
