Must-Have : Experience in supervising psychology assistants

Description :

Supervises psychology assistant positions.

Conducts performance evaluations, scheduling, timekeeping, training, and disciplinary actions for staff.

Evaluates and ensures plans, programs, treatments, therapies, and testing for residents comply with professional standards and regulatory standards.

Develops and implements treatment programs for residents based on diagnosis, interactions, interviews, data analysis, and recommendations from the interdisciplinary team.

Conducts individual and group counseling sessions.

Serves as chairperson of the Human Rights Committee, reviewing and authorizing requests for restrictive measures, ensuring appropriateness and humane implementation.

Conducts routine psychological evaluations and reports results to the interdisciplinary team.

Writes portions of Individual Service Plans, including personal growth strategies and psychological history.

Assesses individuals for suicide precautions and determines when such precautions should end.

Participates in psychiatric drug reviews, admission / discharge, and technical assistance meetings, providing input to team members.

Evaluates individuals for competency and provides results to appropriate parties.

Provides subject matter expert testimony as needed.

Trains staff during new hire orientation and annual training.

Oversees the work of psychology interns and provides feedback to college or university personnel.

Provides input for policies dealing with psychological and behavioral issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.
