Receiving Team Lead

The Inventory and Receiving Lead oversees the receipt, tracking, and distribution of materials in support of electrical manufacturing operations.
As an Inventory & Receiving Lead you will :
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and promotes "Safety First" mentality across team
- Lead cycle counting activities for purchased parts at Warehouse 2 (WH2), including accurate count entry and thorough investigation of discrepancies
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Lead and Purchasing team to ensure timely replenishment of working stock levels
- Monitor incoming material alerts and proactively issue open parts to jobs in progress, maintaining accurate records through the Open Parts Tracker
- Support onboarding and training of new hires, including cross-training team members in receiving and material issuance procedures
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing and Quality departments to ensure seamless material flow and compliance with quality standards
A successful candidate for this role will :
Knowledge of inventory control and receiving procedures specific to electrical components, materials, and finished goodsSkilled in using Epicor to manage inventory accuracy and traceabilityAbility to read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), part numbers, and technical specificationsStrong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with production, purchasing, and QA teamsCapable of training and supervising warehouse staff while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standardsDetail-oriented with the ability to identify discrepancies, resolve receiving issues, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentFamiliar with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and cyclesRequired / Preferred Education :
Required : High school diploma or GED Minimum of 35 years of experience in inventory control, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing settingPreferred : Associate degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field Certification(s) in inventory management or supply chainWe don't just have a passion for our products we manufacture; we care for our team.
