As a Ski Lift Operator Supervisor at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you will supervise Snowsports area lift staff to ensure chair lift operation safety of guests and associates at all times.

What you will be doing :

  • Supervision, scheduling, and training of lift operators
  • Oversee lift ramp maintenance
  • Check tickets and safely assist guests to board lift chair
  • Rotate lift operators out of positions when breaks are needed
  • Be mindful of lift operations to avoid accidents
  • Ensure safety of guests and associates at all times
  • Fully understand all aspects of safe lift operations
  • Shovel snow as needed
  • Work in parking lot directing traffic as needed
  • Must be willing to assist with a variety of duties in and around the chalet
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for :

  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Prior supervisor experience required
  • Work in fast-paced environment with some moving and lifting
  • Great customer service and communication skills required
  • Safety minded; Positive attitude and willingness to work with children required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to tolerate extreme weather conditions
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required to work 2
