JOB SUMMARY :

We are currently seeking applicants for the Cook position. The Cook is responsible for preparing attractive, nutritious, and savory meals for our residents while following the menu guide and resident diet specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Follow selected recipes for meals to be prepared
• Prepare meals using batch cooking techniques and ensure they are completed on time for scheduled meal times
• Ensure all meals are prepared and served at proper temperatures
• Ensure needed and appropriate supplies are available before the start of any cooking cycle
• Maintain a high sanitation standard in the cooking area and clean as you go
• Know and follow a comprehensive cleaning list
• Use sanitizing solutions per policy
• Report all hazardous conditions and equipment to the supervisor immediately
• Follow established Infection Control and Universal Precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks
• Attend and participate in all required employee training
