Elections Criminal Investigator
The Elections Criminal Investigator is responsible for comprehensive investigative work to support the Elections Division of the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder's Office under the purview of the District Attorney's Office to achieve just outcomes, further the goals of the Elections Division and fulfill all statutory, constitutional and ethical obligations of an investigator. This is a part-time, seasonal position. Candidate must be POST certified.
Essential duties include :
- Provides accurate and detailed testimony when required.
- Conducts comprehensive investigations of alleged or suspected criminal violations of state laws in accordance with the statutory requirements of the First Judicial District Attorney's Office.
- Works with diverse staff and community members. Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to make sound decisions.
- Strong officer-safety skills and knowledge.
- Function with minimal supervision.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Compensation : Anticipated Hiring Salary- $34 USD Hourly.
Qualifications :
Colorado POST Certification5 years' experience in law enforcement including 3 years as a detective or investigatorAssociate degree in any discipline (experience may be substituted for education)Valid Colorado Driver's License within 30 days of hireEach applicant must be willing to submit to :
