Job description

Position Overview :

This one-year, paid research fellowship is designed for highly motivated individuals aspiring to pursue a career in orthopedic surgery or further improve your application for medical school. The role includes both remote work -managing research databases and data analysis-and in-office participation for active IDE (Investigational Device Exemption) studies, patient enrollment, and hands-on research activities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain research databases (Excel proficiency required).
  • Assist with ongoing clinical trials, patient enrollment, and data collection.
  • Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and contribute to manuscript preparation.
  • Participate in IDE and other active study projects.
  • Support IRB submissions and grant applications.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to support research goals.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills .
  • Familiarity with research ethics , IRB applications , and grant submission processes is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively .
  • Previous experience in clinical research or medical writing is also a plus.

  • Paid internship with stipend disbursed biweekly .
  • No additional benefits
  • Duration : One Year .
  • Successful completion includes authorship and contribution to peer-reviewed publications .
