The Role :
The Data Analyst will perform duties relating to in-house reporting and analyzing data with respect to the operation’s profitability and play a role in enhancing data quality. The Data Analyst must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of SAP and / or other ERP Systems, Power BI, and familiarity with industry standards. The Data Analyst must be able to prepare, analyze, present, and maintain data for performance reporting purposes. The Data Analyst will report to the President of the company.
What you will do :
- Collaborate on, develop, and distribute easy to digest dashboards and reports that will help internal stakeholders make data-driven business decisions.
- Write queries to extract data and validate data loads, analyze trends, recommend improvements and participate in management review.
- Own and lead the use of data throughout the organization.
- Govern data to ensure processes are effective and data is clean and correct.
- Identify and analyze trends and patterns in collected data.
- Develop models, metrics, and forecasting tools for the enterprise.
- Create queries for monthly and quarterly tracking reports for sales, finance, warehouse, and senior management.
- Build dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPI’s), identify trends, and monitor company initiatives on reaching year end targets.
- Manage the ERP system life cycle including trainings, updates, add-ons, and vendors to ensure the highest level of system effectiveness.
- Oversee the installation and operation of internal communication systems and data networks.
- Own network systems, hardware, and software for the organization. Liaison with a third party for technical support.
- Collaborate with the global Swagelok community to keep up to date on trends, functionality and utilization of systems and information.
