Position: Admissions Support Assistant

As part of our Admin & Admissions team, you’ll play a key role in helping families begin their Primrose journey, while supporting the daily flow of our school. You’ll help create a welcoming environment where children, families, and staff can truly thrive.

What You’ll Do:

Family & Admissions Support

• Serve as a friendly and professional second point of contact for all inquiries
• Respond to phone calls in the evenings, schedule inquires for tours, and greet pick up parents with warmth, confidence and positive energy
• Schedule, prepare for, and engage in school tours for prospective families under the guidance of the Admissions Director
• Assist families through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment under the supervision of the Admissions Director
• Maintain organized files and documentation to support licensing, enrollment, and school operations
• Assist in closing the building to ensure all aspects of the curriculum, policies and procedures are followed with the highest standards of excellence

School Operations & Administrative Support

• Support with daily administrative tasks, filing, and communication
• Assist leadership with maintaining smooth, efficient front-office experience
• Help build a school culture centered around support, care, and strong relationships

Classroom Support (As Needed)

• Step into classrooms to assist teachers during staff breaks, ratio needs, or special events
• Model professionalism, positivity, and teamwork while interacting with children and staff

Health, Safety & Culture

• Contribute to a safe, healthy, joyful learning environment
• Embrace Primrose Balanced Learning values and help families understand what makes our school exceptional

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years working in a licensed childcare facility and full understanding of DFPS minimum standards
• Primrose experience preferred but can train for our program curriculum
• Drive to want to further develop leadership skills
• Must operate our modified vans (bus) and be over the age of 21
• Flexibility to cover school when needed

Hours:

10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
