1. This Scrum Master will be tasked with teaching the team and Sr. technologies Agile, so they need to be able to handle resistance to change and to overcome it. Ask for examples of this. This person will be teaching others (including senior leaders) who don’t understand Agile.
2. Business Analyst or Product background is preferred. Some of the challenges they have faced rest in product management and product ownership.
3. Must be a senior candidate with 5 to 7+ years of experience. Another challenge in the past is having candidates who are not senior enough or don’t have a true Scrum background. *Need PURE Scrum Master experience for 5-7+ years. *
At least 5 years of scrum master experience
Experience building and growing new agile teams is required.
Experience converting waterfall teams to agile is a plus.
Experience in product management, product ownership and backlog-building is a plus.

The scrum master will operate as a collaborative / productive member of a scrum master cohort, working towards the overall progress of the entire business segment.

The scrum master role goes far beyond the daily facilitation of team ceremonies / events.
The scrum master role is defined as an impediment-remover, a problem-solver, and a leader of changes.
The scrum master is actively involved in the end-to-end delivery of working solutions.
The scrum master is accountable for the continuous improvements of her / his teams.
The scrum master is accountable for maintaining consistency with peer scrum masters and teams across the business segment.
Responsibility -
The scrum master will lead two scrum teams.
One team is new to agile, and will require experienced, strong yet flexible leadership from the scrum master.
The other team is a self-organizing team that can continue to adapt and improve.
