Job Summary :

Ralph Sellers Chevrolet in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building and maintaining relationships with clients to drive sales of new and pre-owned vehicles. This individual contributor role offers a competitive salary and an opportunity to excel in the fast-paced and exciting automotive industry.

Compensation and Benefits :

This is a full-time, salaried position with potential for bonuses and incentives based on sales performance. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.

Responsibilities :

  • Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Guide customers through the buying process and provide information about vehicles and financing options
  • Conduct test drives and answer any questions about the features and benefits of different vehicles
  • Negotiate and finalize sales to meet or exceed monthly goals
  • Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and cultivate future business
  • Utilize CRM system to manage customer interactions and document sales activities
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, market trends, and dealership promotions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth sales process and exceptional customer experience

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive sales or a related field
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proficient in computer and CRM systems
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
