Inventory & Procurement Operations Specialist
The UW Medicine - Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology (DLMP) in Seattle, WA has a fantastic opportunity for an Inventory & Procurement Operations Specialist with the Purchasing Team at the Renton Central Laboratory. The Inventory & Procurement Operations Specialist serves as both a business analyst and operational specialist, supporting the phased implementation of the Workday Inventory-to-Procurement system. This role analyzes, designs, and executes process improvements across inventory, supply chain, and vendor-managed services while ensuring alignment with DLMP's strategic goals. The Specialist partners closely with the Assistant Director of Purchasing to identify current-state processes, plan future-state workflows, and execute operational readiness for lab move-ins, vendor services, and supply chain operations. All initiatives, process changes, and implementations are reviewed with the Assistant Director prior to execution.

What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education / experience. 3+ years of experience in inventory management, procurement, supply chain, or business analysis. Strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
