• Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 19 / 2026)\n
• Nursing Shift : 12-hour days (11 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PM)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Employment Type : Travel Nurse\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,630 - $1,750\n
• Patient Ratios : 4 : 1, may increase to 5 : 1 during surges\n
• Documentation System : MediTech Expanse\n
• Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active RN license (Virginia or compact state)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience\n
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills\n
• Proficiency with GE monitors, Baxter pumps, and Zoll travel monitors\n
• Ability to work every other weekend\n\nER Nurse Responsibilities\n
• Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department\n
• Perform advanced ER procedures and demonstrate core ED competencies\n
• Collaborate with physicians, unit secretaries, and patient care techs for optimal outcomes\n
• Accurately document patient care using MediTech Expanse\n
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant healthcare environment\n
