What you’ll do
Operate and optimize 3-piece can line equipment; perform independent troubleshooting and changeovers.Complete daily / department safety checks; correct hazards immediately.Own quality checks and records to ensure every order meets customer specs.Perform daily care, preventive / predictive maintenance, and breakdown repairs.Assist Advanced Operator Technicians with installs, replacements, and mechanical upgrades.Champion Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence initiatives.Execute inventory management tasks; operate a forklift for material movement.Process hold material quickly—sorting and inspecting as required.Receive, store, and maintain chemical inventories used in the metal packaging process.Maintain housekeeping standards and 5S across assigned zones.Apply Food Safety Policy, GMP's, HACCP Principle, and Food Safety Standard.Take on other duties as needed.What you bring
English communication skills (written and verbal).Computer skills to complete inventory transactions.Lean manufacturing familiarity; hands-on experience with machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years in manufacturing (required).Forklift / material handling experience (preferred).Mechanical aptitude and proficiency verified by standardized mechanical testing.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
