Description

The Marketing Content Creator is responsible for bringing Plum Market’s story to life across social platforms. This role blends creativity, trend awareness, and brand storytelling to create engaging visual content that captures the essence of Plum Market’s fresh, local, and intentional experience. Working closely with leadership and the creative team, this position plays a key role in showcasing products, people, and moments that define our brand.

Who You Are

You are a creative storyteller with a strong eye for trends and visual content. You live and breathe social media, understand what makes content engaging, and enjoy capturing authentic moments that connect with people. You’re flexible, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You can spot what’s “viral” before it happens and are comfortable filming in dynamic retail settings.

You have reliable transportation to visit Plum Market’s Farmington Office and nearby Michigan locations. You’re skilled in short-form video creation and editing, and you take initiative in bringing ideas to life. You’re organized, self-motivated, and eager to grow your skills in brand storytelling and retail marketing.

What You Will Do

Create and post daily short-form video content across social platforms, highlighting products, people, and cultural moments.

Design and publish engaging Instagram Stories (polls, Q&As, sneak peeks, product features, and behind-the-scenes content).

Plan and execute long-term social content strategies that align with Plum Market’s brand voice and values.

Develop compelling visuals, including product spotlights, seasonal campaigns, and founder-focused features.

Capture candid, behind-the-scenes moments with Marc Jonna and the Plum Market team.

Edit and post both real-time and pre-planned shoot content using tools like CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Premiere.

Monitor engagement metrics and experiment with new formats and storytelling styles.

Occasionally assist in scripting or storyboarding longer videos highlighting Marc’s founder journey or other brand stories.

What You Will Bring

A strong grasp of social media platforms, content trends, and storytelling best practices.

Comfort in front of and behind the camera—filming people, food, and store environments.

Proficiency in video editing tools and creative apps (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.).

A flexible, proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and meet deadlines.

Prior experience in content creation, social media management, or brand marketing is a plus.
