Lead Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and manage enterprise-grade data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize metadata-driven data pipelines in Fabric and ADF for ingestion, transformation, and delivery

Architect solutions using Medallion Architecture, ensuring scalability, governance, and reusability

Lead small teams, mentor data engineers, and work directly with customers to gather requirements and provide best-practice guidance

Required Qualifications

6+ years in data engineering, with 2+ years leading / mentoring teams

Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Advanced proficiency in SQL and Stored Procedures

Proven end-to-end project delivery experience

Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture and data lakehouse practices
