Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Reviewer to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical / Office or medical specialties and demonstrate proficiency in evaluating clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and providing insightful feedback on patient care processes. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality patient outcomes and supporting clinical research initiatives.

Duties

  • Review and analyze medical records, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and EMR systems, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate clinical documentation across multiple specialties, such as Psychiatry

Requirements

  • Hybrid- in office 2-3 days a week
  • Must attend training in January and June (orr July) 2026
  • Must have Clinical experience
  • HEDIS experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience with abstractions and overreads
  • Required to travel to provider offices
  • EMR experience required
  • Must have MS Office experience + Excel experience
  • Must reside in Maryland
  • Nursing RN or LPN license mandatory
