Property Underwriting Role

Working as part of the Property Underwriting team, the role will focus on securing and maintaining profitable business opportunities through leading edge solutions for client needs. The role requires a significant amount of interaction with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders. Essential responsibilities include developing and structuring tailor-made solutions through risk transfer and service-related products, procuring new business opportunities through effective marketing strategies, evaluating appropriate risk premiums, utilizing sales and negotiating skills, managing timely implementation of new and renewal accounts, and advising clients on insurance and risk management matters.

Required skills and abilities include some to moderate underwriting experience, thorough technical knowledge of underwriting, rating methodologies, forms, and reinsurance concepts, and a basic understanding of global and domestic property underwriting. Desired skills include a bachelor's degree, professional designations, excellent analytical, communication, marketing, presentation, and negotiation skills, solid leadership and management skills, and excellent decision-making skills.
