Status : Full-Time 76-80 Hours

Rate of Pay : Grade 24 / $33.33 - $49.02 an hour

Summary / Objective : Examines, evaluates and makes recommendations on loan files for residential real estate and construction loans for portfolio and agency products. This position may have limited loan approval authority.

Essential Job Functions :

• Extensive knowledge of all secondary market and portfolio lending guidelines and policies.
• Analyzes loan files regarding applicant's financial status, creditworthiness and property appraisals to determine feasibility of granting loan / approves or makes recommendations for approval or denial and submits to loan committee.
• Maintains open and effective communications between loan officers, loan processors and loan committee members to resolve loan file challenges and conditions.
• Provides quality control of loan files : verifies accuracy and completion of all required loan documentation using compliance and underwriting guidelines.
• Answers inquiries regarding loan processing or underwriting information with processors, loan officers, loan closers, loan servicing and quality control.
• Other tasks as assigned.
