Job Description & Requirements Specialty : NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 30 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : RN – NICU | MUST HAVE OSTOMOY / BUBBLE PAP / VENT EXP MUST HAVE 3 YRS OF EXP IN A HOSPITAL SETTING Location : Mount Sinai Hospital,New York, NY 10029 Department : Women & Children’s Services Schedule : 3 days / week, 11.5 hours / day (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM) Contract duration : 13 Weeks Qualifications : Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree considered with relevant experience or active enrollment in BSN program. Licenses / Certifications : NYS RN License BLS (Basic Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Experience : Minimum 2 years NICU experience, including Level 3 & 4 care. Mechanical ventilation management experience required. Minimum 3 years hospital setting experience. Travel experience preferred for contract roles (1 year). EPIC experience highly preferred. Skills : Ability to manage a unit with an average census of 45 patients, maintaining staff-to-patient ratios of 1 : 1–3. Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills. Commitment to patient-centered care, quality improvement, and professional development. Work Environment : NICU unit with high acuity patients. Collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.
