This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that offers a wide range of surgical services in a collaborative environment. The facility handles diverse cases including cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgery, and obstetrical procedures, operating as a Level 3 trauma center.

Opportunity :

Board Certified - Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant

Job Details :

• Monday-Friday schedule covering Operating rooms, outpatient orthopedic surgery center, endoscopy suites, and catheterization lab
• Work in a 2 : 1 or 3 : 1 care team model in a collaborative environment with great variety of cases
• Perform everything except burn, complex pediatrics, and transplant procedures
• Provide general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma patients
• Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
• Handle neurosurgical, head / spine, thoracic, and complex orthopedic cases
• Experience with obstetrical cases and complex vascular cases preferred
• Neonatal anesthesia experience preferred
• Pain management techniques preferred, including post-op epidural and extremity blocks
• Ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume / BP issues
• Central line, arterial line, and catheter placement skills preferred
• Administration of blood, blood products, supportive fluid, anesthetist drugs, adjuvant drugs, and accessory drugs
• Must have ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
