Job Details :

Work Shift A - 5 a.m. to 5 .m. With a rotating schedule always off Sundays

You must have a minimum of 6-months to 1 year of previous experience in entry level Mechanical Maintenance.

You MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN TOOLS. You also need to have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Ÿ  Perform various positions as required / assigned

Description

This position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

This position requires a current valid State driver’s license.  Must supply own tools for minimum maintenance.  Must be able to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools.   Requires minimum 1 year basic mechanical or maintenance work experience and 6months work history with 1 employer within the last 2 years, listed on application. PM on equipment, oil changes, greasing, repairing or replacing semi tires, brake repair or replacement on semi - trucks and trailers, and minimum 1 year experience operating cutting torch and electric welder.  May perform air brake, electrical and air conditioning work.  Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.  Must be able to read and understand assignments.  Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing.  Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.  If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Rehire Rule of no more than  3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
