Overview

Shift : Full Time Days| Rotating weekly / weekend call; One call holiday per year

Part Time Days| Rotating weekly / weekend call; One call holiday per year

Provide care for patients ages 3 years and up. Collaborates with various members of the surgical team to ensure safe surgical procedures and patient care outcomes. Surgical specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, spinal surgery, gynecology, urology and podiatry.

All newly licensed RNs or RNs with less than six months of acute RN experience and who are interested in this department or any other Acute RN role within UnityPoint Health - Des Moines, are encouraged and required to participate in the RN Residency program.
