Senior Engineer - Manufacturing Data Systems (Application Development)

Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Collaborate and lead upgrade and re-platforming efforts of existing software.
• Contributions to new development for current software tools
• Database work to include queries, stored procedures, tables, view.
• Fab Support
• Execute updates to Sherman Data configuration communicated in Engineering Change Order (ECO) requests.
• Maintenance of production software

Working Conditions

Normal office working conditions in a climate-controlled environment. Flexibility to support a 24 / 7 manufacturing facility. Ability to work collaboratively others both in person and remotely.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of times. Must be able to sit in front a computer to complete task for up to 2-4 hours at a time.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.

Quality and Environmental Responsibilities

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and / or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
