Middle / High School Spanish Teacher

Summit Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and qualified Upper School Spanish Teacher (part-time) to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a classical and engaging learning environment for students in 7th-12th grade to foster a love of learning for what is true, good and beautiful. Our Upper school courses are delivered using a university model. Our teachers teach all of the content over 32 weeks.Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following : Plan and deliver art lessons that support classical delivery in project-based units. Maintain assignment posts in the online platform. Enter lesson plans, assignments and grades into Gradelink.Foster an organized, respectful and Christ-loving classroom environment that focuses on the good, true and beautiful.Create a positive and supportive culture that believes in home discipleship and loves encouraging homeschool families.Consistently exhibit spiritual maturity and be a role model of Christian love, faith, truthfulness, and virtue, both in the classroom and in your personal life.Have a thorough knowledge of and interest in the subjects assigned to teachDifferentiate instruction to support all students who show up prepared and wanting to learn.Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents / guardians, and colleagues.Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and school initiatives.Knowledge Skills and Ability Required : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
