What You'll Do :

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols on foot throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.

Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Complete accurate and timely written reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency services as needed in response to incidents at the government location.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

Ability to work at locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
