Messenger Clerk Job Description

Ferrari Group specializes in the worldwide shipment of jewelry and luxury goods, providing one-stop solutions for the logistics management of high-value merchandise. The company is recognized for its global expertise in customs procedures and valuable experience with different courier services, gaining increasing recognition within the industry.

The Messenger Clerk is responsible for preparing mail and other parcels for mailing or delivery; delivering mail to company facilities and clients; delivering messages and parcels to various agencies; maintains records of outgoing mail and files.

Responsibilities :

• Pick up and deliver messages, documents, packages, and other items between offices or departments within an establishment or directly to other business concerns, traveling by foot, automobile, or public conveyance.
• Sorts and distributes mail, letters, messages, packages,
• Deliver documents and other parcels to various facilities and government agencies
• Ensure that all related documentation that is part of the internal and external operations process is completed and documented appropriately in accordance with company policies.
• Filing and record keeping
• Performs numerous administrative support functions, i.e., filing, photocopying, distribution of memos

Requirements :

Valid driver's license

Previous experience as a courier or guard

Ability to complete mandatory background and drug screen

Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality

Must be detailed oriented and organized

Must have a clean driving record

Ability to work independently

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $20 per hour
