Job description3+ years of experience in automotive repair. Familiar with both foreign and domestic vehicles. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must have own professional tools. Strong understanding of automotive systems and safety procedures. PA State Inspection and Emissions License preferred (or willing to obtain). ASE certifications a plus. Competitive pay (hourly or flat rate). Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends. Paid holidays and opportunities for training. Growth potential into Level A / Master Technician. Job Overview :
MrKitt’s Service Center is seeking a Level B Automotive Technician with 3–5 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate is skilled in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of foreign and domestic vehicles, and capable of completing both routine maintenance and more complex mechanical work with limited supervision.
Responsibilities :
- Perform brake jobs, suspension repairs, steering work, and HVAC services.
- Complete routine maintenance : oil changes, tune-ups, filters, fluids, etc..
- Conduct basic diagnostics and assist with troubleshooting drivability issues.
- Use diagnostic tools to test electrical systems and components.
- Follow repair procedures per manufacturer specs and safety guidelines.
- Document all work accurately in the repair order system (Tekmetric).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and teammates.
