Overview

Job Duties

Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing sonographic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical

functional, pathological and anatomical data under the direction of the Medical Director.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Technologist will be required to perform invasive and noninvasive procedures, utilize sterile techniques when necessary, and operate complex imaging equipment under the direction of the Director and / or Manager.
• Participates in weekend schedule coverage, must participates in the on call schedule where applicable. Covers additional

shifts based on the department need.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

2 years specialized training required

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Certificate

Vocational Training; Graduate of Ultrasound Certificate Program required

One year clinical ultrasound experience preferred

ARDMS Certified required at time of hire

Additional Details :

Certification / Licensure

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or RVS (CCI) required

Basic Life Support (BLS) required
