Legislative And Budgetary Operations Lead

Lead legislative and budgetary operations, collaborating with the Chief of Staff to advance the Assemblymember's agenda.

Manage recommendations for committee and floor votes, requests for sign-on letters for co-sponsorships. Advocate for budget priorities aligned with district & statewide goals.

Committee clerk and coordinate activities as needed.

Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. Basic knowledge of the legislative process preferred. Excellent writing and communication skills required.

Ability to work evening and / or some weekend hours.

Position includes access to Health and Dental benefits and the NYS Retirement system.
