Business Insider is hiring a fellow to join our Life team to write compelling slideshows for our on-site and partner audiences.
The Fellowship Program is for early career journalists who want to spend six months learning from a newsroom full of passionate dedicated journalists. Fellows are assigned to teams and become experts in digital storytelling. They produce real work that is distributed to our audience of millions and by the end of six months they are prepared for the next phase of their journalism careers. This role requires you to work for 40 hours a week and work two days a week in our NYC office.
The Role & Team :
As a Life fellow you will create general-interest slideshows across newsroom verticals with a particular focus on real estate. You will keep an eye on whats trending to produce timely stories and you will also be encouraged to pitch new stories and experiences you can write about.
You will be part of the Editorial Partnerships team whose goal is to pitch and write stories that resonate with audiences across our partner sites which include MSN Yahoo and Apple News.
This role reports directly to the Deputy Editor of Editorial Partnerships and sits on the Life team.
