Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470 - $1570 Travel Nurse Job Details Assignment Length : 8 weeks Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Healthcare Setting : Medical / Surgical Unit Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), alternating weekends (3 / 2 split : 4 shifts one week, 3 the next) Hours per Week : 36 Patient Ratio : 6 : 1 Employment Type : Travel Contract Location : Flowood, Mississippi 39232 (near Jackson, MS) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Mississippi or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Medical / Surgical nursing experience BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred) Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (per travel nurse guidelines) Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced Med / Surg unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress using Cerner EMR Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Why Choose Flowood, MS for Your Next Travel Nursing Job?
