Our client, a dynamic manufacturing organization, is seeking a Brake Press Operator Experienced / First Shift to join their team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of the assembly department supporting a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to cross-train and learn multiple jobs, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Brake Press Operator Experienced / Third Shift and First Shift Avail

Location : Scott City, MO

Pay Range : $15 per hour on first shift / $16 per hour on third shift

What's the Job?

Set up and operate brake press machines to bend sheet metal according to blueprints and work orders.

Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using measurement tools such as calipers and protractors.

Adjust machine settings, tooling, and dies as needed to ensure precision.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and job instructions.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).

Previous brake press or machine operation experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring devices.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.

Team-oriented mindset and strong work ethic.
