About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : MRI Tech

Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (09 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : GA or Compact license required at the time of submission

Certifications : ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have :

2 years of MRI experience

Ability to float within facility / scope of practice as needed

Description :

Unit details include a Monday-Friday schedule.

There is no weekend coverage requirement.

No call duties are required.

The facility is expected to comply with staffing and scheduling guidelines.

If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.

If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays.

If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve / New Year's Day.

Full compliance is required to start on time.

Failure to comply may delay the start by two weeks due to orientation scheduling.

The unit accepts first-time travelers.

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.

Two supervisory references are preferred at the time of submission.

References must be from a manager or above; charges will not be accepted.

Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete any necessary labs promptly.

Travelers must be available for scheduled modules during the orientation period.

Modules are recorded via transcripts and vary by specialty.

The mandatory pre-application fee for privileging candidates will be required.

Candidates completing one successful assignment outside a specific facility can return to that location.
