Business and Financial Litigation Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business and Financial Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex litigation cases, focusing on both business and financial disputes. This role involves representing clients in high-stakes litigation, trials, appeals, and arbitration, while providing strategic legal advice and dispute resolution solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in business and financial litigation cases, including trials, arbitrations, and appeals.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Manage all phases of litigation from initial case assessment to resolution, ensuring timely compliance with court deadlines.
  • Negotiate settlements and facilitate dispute resolution processes on behalf of clients.
  • Stay current on legal developments and industry trends related to business and financial litigation.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in MA.
  • 4-7+ years of experience in business litigation and financial litigation in a large law firm or boutique firm highly preferred.
  • Trial and deposition experience required.
  • Proven track record in handling complex litigation and high-stakes cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
