Support K–12 students and assist educators with classroom tasks as a Substitute Paraprofessional. This flexible, as-needed position plays a vital role in maintaining a supportive, safe, and structured learning environment during staff absences.

Minimum Requirements :

Michigan Paraprofessional Certificate OR at least 60 college credit hours

Experience in schools, childcare, or tutoring is helpful

Effective communication and strong organizational skills

Reliable, professional, and comfortable working with diverse student populations

High school diploma or GED

Core Responsibilities :

Providing classroom assistance to students with varying academic needs

Monitoring behavior and reinforcing school expectations

Supporting instructional activities under the guidance of certified staff

Supervising students in various school settings throughout the day

Ensuring confidentiality and appropriate conduct at all times

This opportunity allows for meaningful work in education with flexible, per-diem scheduling.

Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
