CDL A Local Dry Van Driver in Altoona, PA

CEVA Logistics is hiring a CDL A Tractor trailer Company Driver in Altoona, PA. This is a night shift dedicated drop and hook route. Freight is delivered in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements. Compensation :

• Daily pay : $232 per day
• Bonuses :
• Driver Referral Bonus : $1,000 per driver hired, paid after 90 days of employment

• Night shift. 7pm dispatch time M-TH, 1pm dispatch on Sundays

• Route : Dedicated run to Canton, OH
• Drop & hook Equipment
• 53' Dry Van
• Automatic Transmission
• Speed governed at 70 mph
• Inward and outward facing event triggered cameras
• Slip seating Qualifications
• Must have valid CDL A License
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL Class A Tractor Trailer driving experience
• Forklift Experience required
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• No more than 3 moving violations / traffic citations in the past 3 years
• No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years
• No DUIs / DWIs in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• You must have the ability to read, speak, and understand English as outlined in the Road Executive Order and stated in Federal law
