Role Summary

CK Transportation is expanding its Nashville, Tennessee driver operations and is seeking dependable CDL Class A professionals for consistent regional work. This position is built around predictable freight lanes running from Nashville into Atlanta and key Northeast markets, supporting steady miles and a dependable weekly routine. Drivers benefit from structured schedules, modern equipment, and a company culture focused on long-term stability rather than short-term turnover.

Work Details

This role centers on dry van freight with primarily drop-and-hook operations, minimizing delays and maximizing drive time. Most runs follow established regional corridors, allowing drivers to average 2,800 to 3,000 miles per week depending on routing and conditions. Drivers coordinate directly with dispatch for routing updates, scheduling clarity, and through-trip communication. Safety, time management, and equipment care are expected at all times, supporting efficient operations and customer reliability.

Schedule and Home Time

Drivers are home every week with a guaranteed 48-hour reset. This schedule allows for consistent personal time while still supporting strong weekly mileage performance. During home time, trucks are parked at secure local drop yards, making it easy for drivers to transition between work and time off without unnecessary delays or complications.

Equipment and Freight

The fleet consists of International trucks that are 2.5 years old or newer and maintained to support long-term reliability. Freight is dry van only, which provides route consistency and predictable loading processes. This setup allows drivers to focus on performance rather than equipment concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

Drivers earn between $1,650 and $1,850 per week based on mileage and performance. Additional earning opportunities include fuel efficiency bonuses, clean inspection recognition, and quarterly performance rewards. A 16-cent-per-mile non-taxable per diem is included. Health benefits include major medical, dental, and vision coverage. Vacation pay becomes available after one year of service. Rider options are available for passengers age 12 and older, and pets are permitted without restrictions.
