Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,362 per week in Keene, NH

The unit for critical care nursing is a 10-bed suite. The focus is on caring for and supporting patients and their families. Advanced technological systems and tools are used to monitor and treat critical illnesses. Each patient room is equipped with an electric therapeutic bed. An emergency call system is available. Cardiac monitoring with additional monitoring modules is provided. There is a wall-mounted documentation station. Access to other critical care equipment needs is available. The patient population includes critically unstable patients exhibiting various conditions. The goal is to provide optimum 24-hour critical care nursing. This includes medical / surgical patients demonstrating unstable vital functions requiring specialized treatment. Supportive measures are implemented through the rapid recognition and treatment of life-threatening complications. Total patient care is emphasized. RN patient ratios are 2 : 1 or 1 : 1, depending on patient acuity, isolation needs, and RN experience. Telemetry experience is required.
