Veterinary Technician, CVT, LVT

Our hours are Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri 7 : 30AM-5 : 30PM. Saturdays 7 : 30AM-12PM.

• CLOSED
• Thursdays, Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

Experienced Veterinary Technician Qualifications :

The ideal candidate should show initiative, critical thinking, and be able to multitask efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills and compassion. Physical capability of lifting, bending and restraining patients is a requirement for this job. A minimum of 4 years experience is ideal. Largo Veterinary Hospital is a strict drug free workplace.

• Veterinary experience : 4 years (Required)
• Intravet (Preferred)
• Multi line phone system (Preferred)
• CVT, LVT or RVT(Preferred)
• FearFree (Preferred)
• CareCredit / Scratchpay(Preferred)

Application Question(s) :

• Are you proficient in jugular phlebotomy on canine patients?
• Are you proficient in canine / feline dental prophylaxis?
• Can you perform digital radiographs on a canine or feline patient?
• Are you comfortable giving subcutaneous injections to dogs and cats?
• Are you comfortable giving intravenous injections to dogs and cats?
• Can you identify parasites in fecal flotations?
