Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and caring Orthodontic Assistant to join our team! As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our patients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the Orthodontist during procedures and be responsible for your own column of patients along with completing clinical related tasks. The ideal candidate has at least two years as a full Orthodontic assistant and some experience with lingual braces. Lingual braces experience is not mandatory but preferred. Hours
Mondays 9 AM-6 PM
Tuesdays 9 AM-5:30 PM
Thursdays: 8 AM-4 PM

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable, offer refreshments
• Explain the dental care visit with patients and answer any questions they may have
• Input accurate treatment chart notes
• Prep sterilized equipment
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams
• Bond lingual braces, Invisalign attachments, bond fixed retainers, take impression, full dental records etc.
• Ortho adjustments
• Adhere to all OSHA health and safety regulations and office policies
• Work as a team!

Qualifications

• Previous 2 years' experience as an ortho assistant (NOT DENTAL ASSISTANT)
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care
• Team player
• Fluent English speaking
• Current COA certification, not required, but preferred
