Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with reconciliations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and exposure to a wide range of accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including data entry, invoice processing, and payment tracking

Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions

Support month-end and year-end closing processes

Maintain accurate and organized financial files and records

Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies

Prepare reports and support audits as needed

Perform general administrative duties to support the accounting and finance departments

Qualifications

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)

1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
