Machinist and Machinist Helper

Powerhouse is seeking an experienced Machinist and Machinist helper with a background in the nuclear industry to operate and maintain manual machines used to produce components to exact specifications. This role requires strict adherence to nuclear quality assurance standards and attention to detail in a regulated environment. One week vacation and 7 holidays paid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor manual machines to fabicate parts to precise tolerances.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Work with nuclear- grade materials while maintaining quaility and safe standards.
• Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Document all work per nuclear QA/QC procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and supervisors to resolve machining challenges.
• Follow radiological protection protocols and cleanroom standards, if required.
